Bicycle Path Network: Winner of Two Awards!
After winning the Eurobike Award 2023 in the “Mobility Solutions and Infrastructure” category, the bike lane system has now been honored with the prestigious German Design Award 2024 in the “Excellent Product Design” category. The jury praised the well-thought-out concept of the “horizont” system for bike lanes: “Thanks to its elevated design and brightly colored posts, the ‘Bike Lane’ system provides physical and visual separation between the roadway and the bike lane. The fact that the system requires no bolting, can be used temporarily, and allows emergency vehicles to easily drive over it when necessary demonstrates just how well-thought-out this design is.”
