Information on “RoHS”

The original EC Directive “2002/95/EC (Restriction of Hazardous Substances - RoHS 1)” has been replaced by EU Directive “2011/65/EU (RoHS 2)”.

“COMMISSION DELEGATED DIRECTIVE (EU) 2015/863 (RoHS 3)” of March 31, 2015, amends and expands “Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2)” of the European Parliament. However, EU Directive “2011/65/EU (RoHS 2)” remains authoritative.

The comprehensive restrictions on substances contained in Directives “2011/65/EU (RoHS 2)” have been transposed into national law in Germany via the “Regulation on the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Regulation on Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment – ElektroStoffV).”

The “ElektroStoffV” came into force on April 19, 2013. We, horizont group gmbh, ensure compliance with the ‘ElektroStoffV’ and “RoHS 2 and RoHS 3” in accordance with the intended use of our products. Our suppliers have been and remain committed to this ongoing process. Our user manuals have been and will continue to be adapted to new requirements as necessary.
